related to Cheney/Niger Italian documents

Check out the (currently) second post down on his site. Looks like things could be getting very, very interesting.

Here is a snippet from his site....BTW he is a must read everyday.

the forged Niger documents.

Who forged them? And why?

It’s one of the most intriguing and possibly one of most important questions surrounding the whole manipulated Iraq intelligence story. And yet it also seems to have generated the least curiosity.

I’ve picked up a few clues that tell me that could change awfully quickly. And in a pretty dramatic fashion.

3. Is Cheney stupid enough to forge something so inconsequential?
I would love nothing more than to hang the forgery around his neck. I may hate him, but he doesn't strike me as being stupid. You don't get where he is by being dumb.

4. they didnt ever think they would be caught, arrogance
Stupid? yes

The arrogance of Cheney will be his downfall.

Cheney thought he would NEVER be questioned about the forgeries.
I'm sure in his perverted warped oil brain NO ONE WOULD DARE
QUESTION THE FORCED DOCUMENTS.

Stupidity & arrogance go hand-in-hand.

8. and he may be right
Cheney may never be questioned about his role in the Niger debacle--ie doing so puts your family at risk, or your career and I hesitate to say this, but maybe even your life-that was supposed to be the lesson behind the outing of Valerie Plame.

6. Nixon was supposedly very smart
he was brought down by some pretty petty stuff.

Anyway, I think the intelligence of these guys is overrated. It's a societal thing, a myth about who gets to where they are. I think Bush, for example, is every bit as stupid as all the jokes say. He proved it again today, as he does every time he talks.

7. Its not stupidity that exposes people
usually. Its their arrogance. And Cheney has that in spades. It seems unlikely he physically did it-more than likely just ordered it done. If you think about it, who would have ever predicted some of the stuff this gang of thugs have come up with. And the brazen way they push and lie their way through. Even the "its a trick question" about when we will be out of Iraq.

5. Interesting. The Italian businessman was in the security

business. I heard that old bastard Gingrich on NPR this a.m. and he is in the security business. Now why does that not make me feel "secure?"

I agree, Cheney didn't get where he is by being dumb. He got there by being ruthless, manipulative and deadly. His prints are all over this, but some minion will take the bullet for him.
