heard on MSM this morning
"people are saying not in my back yard" about the trailer parks being put in LA for the Katrina survivors, they are claiming fear the crime rate will go up. These are the sort of people that advocated a war on xmas.

1. "Heard on MSM"
This sounds like a FOX "Some people say" meme.

2. Nagin has really dropped the ball on this...........
I've been keeping tabs on this issue. He's really screwed it up. Of course the people who are complaining the most are the rich. They don;t want any FEMA trailers near the Garden District. Of course that's where New Orleans' largest employer is situated, Tulane University. The employees of Tulane need places to live, NOW! The University is scheduled to open for the Spring semester on January 17 and if their employees don't have anyplace to live, well..... Of course Scott Cowen, President of Tulane hasn't been too helpful either. It was ridiculous of him to tell everyone back in September that Tulane would be open in the Spring. He should have waited until next Fall to re-open, but he put his foot in his mouth and now he has to deliver.
The whole thing is a mess and they're nowhere near a solution to this yet. I guess the big issue is whether or not to allow FEMA trailers in parts of Audubon Park. The people who are intent upon the gentrification of New Orleans will hear nothing of this and have been fighting it all the way. Meanwhile, New Orleans sits there, decaying day by day and nothing's getting done about it!

3. if the average American
understood just how much the rich despises them, they loath them, the only purpose for the average Joe is mindless mass consumption in order to keep stocks up, otherwise people are just dirt.

So what does the average American do to reward this behavior, cut their taxes to nothing.

4. You would not believe the "trailer parks" here in Florida.
They are some of the nicest residential areas in town. Had FEMA a brain, this would not be a problem. Had the average person a brain, this would not happen. Are these good Christian communities too?
