DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS for blackmail purposes? It's like a lightbulb went off. Tom Daschle received an anthrax letter. Pat Leahy received an anthrax letter. The HAZMAT crews went into their offices to clean up the anthrax and I'm sure NSA and CIA made their way through the Senate offices. I think they planted bugs and tapped phones. I also believe the anthrax letters came with another warning....."we have info on YOU, your wife and we know which school little Johnny and Sally attend. Straighten up and fly right OR ELSE."

ALSO, don't you think that the NYT holding the wiretap story for a year, AT THE REQUEST OF THE ADMINISTRATION, they just gave the SOBs all the time in the world to pull their taps and bugs from offices, homes and cars? We will probably never know the truth unless papers are released or someone who did the dirty deeds comes forward.

Don't you find it enlightening? NOW I see why the Democrats in Congress have kissed this administration's ass for the last 5 years. THEY WERE BEING BLACKMAILED. I know it.

2. Comes the dawn - especially since the antrrax was tracked back
to our own military stocks and they "failed" to find the cat that turned the wheels. Damn cussed fascists!

11. Never finding the person who sent the anthrax letters
is VERY TELLING to me. They know who did it....that's why WE don't know. THEY DID IT.

4. I have thought of that too
If Congress doesn't think they've been wiretapped, they're truly stupid. He couldn't use FISA because when you're listening to EVERYone, you don't have the time to ask for permission, nor would that permission be granted. I think they wiretapped various dem campaign headquarters, protesters, everyone who ever signed a condemning petition, members of Congress. All of us on DU.

brought it back to a pre-election date?

6. Me too
After all, this gang blows hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis away for their oil without a second thought. Wiretapping their political opponents should seam to them almost routine.

Edited on Tue Dec-27-05 02:57 PM by in_cog_ni_to
where KKKRove BUGGED HIS OWN OFFICE and blamed it on the opponent his guy (not the idiot, I don't think) was running against. This is CLASSIC KKKRove.

12. Not only do I believe that
I also believe They were in cahoots with the Anthrax deal AND, I now believe they are in league with Bin Laden which is why they will never "catch" him. I also believe that there is a high probility of another staged terrorist attack sometime before the midterms. These people are just as capable of evil as Hitler and Stalin.

16. I agree! They really are praying the Patriot Act
isn't renewed. That's their next move. Let the PA expire, plan another terrorist attack right before the midterms election and blame the DEMOCRATS for letting it expire. Rally the sheeple again.

19. Yep, that's the plan
But I notice that people don't seem to be affected when anything happens anymore. They assume that if something bad happens, it's the government behind it. If an al Jazeera tape surfaces with any kind of threat, people don't even react. I think everyone knows those tapes are neocon productions. The concern is that because everyone is used to this, they might try something a little more persuasive. A bomb, a fire, a shooting. When that happens,if the government blames terrorists, we must raise the suspicion that it's the government terrorizing its citizens.

22. I suspect it's going to be a dirty bomb. The missing Uranium story
was in the news the other day...again, for some reason. OLD NEWS, yet it was a news report. I found that curious. I suspect they're throwing that out there to set up a dirty bomb attack after the PA expires. Just a guess.

24. oh yeah
The only good reason to bypass the FISA court is to spy on people that you shouldn’t be spying on – Democrats in Congress, the UN security council, Hans Blix, Joe Wilson. Otherwise, what’s the big damn deal about getting a warrant? They never can explain what the big damn deal about the warrant is except to spout non-sense that has been disproved over and over again.

What is blackmail compared to anthrax attacks? I'm sure it is far worse than just blackmail.

28. I'm sure. The anthrax didn't kill them though.
That's when the blackmail started. They were probably told WHO sent the anthrax and then told they had better toe the line or else. Little did they know they were being wiretapped and bugged too.

32. GOOD QUESTION! I think that would take Daschle and Leahy coming forward
with the TRUTH. They may do that ONLY if KKKRove is indicted and they KNOW, for a fact, this regime is going DOWN in flames. Otherwise, they could be killed. :scared:
