I Think Baghdad Needs a New Name... "Car Bomb City" Is Appropriate....

I wonder how you say that in Arabic? I actually read it was six car bombs in Baghdad alone today...

Iraqi soldiers look at a destroyed car after a series of car bomb attacks in central Baghdad, December 26, 2005. Four car bombs went off in quick succession across Baghdad. Two policemen and a civilian were wounded when one of them, in a parked car, exploded near an Iraqi police patrol in the Karada neighbourhood, an Interior Ministry source said. Details of casualties in the other blasts were not immediately available. (Ceerwan Aziz/Reuters)

2. It has a Middle Eastern
ring to it and is totally descriptive, unfortunately.

I saw that thread from cbs news tonight that had an Iraqi man being interviewed, saying..we cursed sadamn in his day but we're worse off now(can't find link at the moment).

3. If you said "I'm off to Bomb City", everyone would know what you meant.
I guess. What with roadside bombs, car bombs, 500 pound bombs from jets, and so on.

Though it could get confused with Ramadi or Fallujah.....
