So Bush threatens to veto Iraq $'s? Let him. Bring it on. And the Dems?

Interesting, that over the last couple of weeks, I have written several threads stating much the same, and was attacked by those who thought we should be handing over our money to Bush, ...again!

The bigger issue though, is why so many Democrats signed off on this bill, and other bills like it? Why would these Democrats want to help Bush in any way? Of the $87B, only $20B is designated for Iraq, the rest is military funding. Why would any Dem approve giving Bush another $60B+ to fuel his Middle East ambitions, and grease the PNAC plan for world domination and ME subjugation?

If Bush ends up using this money to invade Syria and Iran, as his friend Ariel Sharon wants, it could also help his "re-election", by allowing him to put the country on a "war-footing" at election time. Why would any Dem vote for THAT?

The only reasons I can see for Dems supporting this (and bills like the Syrian sanctions), is one, some were afraid they would be portrayed as not supporting the troops (hasn't Bush already played this tired card?), and two, the pro-Israeli PACs (like AIPAC), and the government of Israel itself, are really pushing for it. They want the U.S. in the ME, using our money, to fight Sharon's wars, and to protect his backside when he starts them on his own. God-forbid any Democrat would EVER vote against something Israel wants!

The only money Dems should have voted for, was money needed to help Iraq, in an effort to repair the country after we decimated it.

Whether the reasons be Israel, or fear of backlash, Dems have no business supporting ANYTHING that might help G.W. Bush, and his cabal of neocon henchmen. Not now. Not ever.
