He hasn't the guts or the self respect to do something that critically empowering to the concept that is the USA. I have read a lot about him, both the behind-the-hand-whispers and the multicolored sugar spackling. An accomplished opportunist, the tool of his benefactors and sugar coaters, using them, in turn, for further aggrandizement, he represented a marvelous asset for the fascists-in-waiting.
I have no doubt he sees himself as a selfless patriot, never noting that his wind of patriotic motivation is always blowing from the same dark corner.
Somehow his twisted view of the noble experiment hardened, early on, into something material and physical, not the embodiment of the most progressive ideas the world of men has ever produced.
I vote no. Wish yes.
