Daschle: Congress Denied Bush War Powers in U.S.
A freeper's take;

This is like manna from heaven. Dipstick admits that the democrats tied the CIC's hands when this nation was a battlefield. If the republicans can't make hay with this, they are lost.

I picked this one just for his tag line. Most of the rest fall into 2 categories; Making fun of Daschle or making fun of the Dems for their weak national defense stance. Not one says anything even remotely close to wire taps. But that is fair, I believe. They know that they are in the party of power and besides their lily-white asses would not do anything to be spied upon anyway.

I've got to stop doing that, going over to the other side and seeing what they are writing. However, it does give me insight into what we are talking about over here. Sometimes I like the contrast, not that I agree with what's said over there. Lol, I do notice that they post more science articles. The noticeable thing about that is there are hardly any threads to the post. The ones that are seem stilted and usually with some degree humor, or what I'm sure they attempt as humor, interjected into their thread. IMHO

1. >>Oh PLEASE tommy boy
Last election I was telling everyone that a D & D, Dean/Daschle or Edwards/Daschle ticket would have been unstoppable. A D & D ticket would be what the right wing and even the Republicans in Democrat clothing (that means the obedient democrats who always go along with the administration) would fear the most. It may be a rough ride at first but we'd have a much better future in the years to come. Those two would rip Washington, D.C a new asshole. They're the type of "rip off their heads and shit down their necks" politicians.

D & D 2008

I find you get more humorous replies if you leave the question open (without explaining)

9. Love it or leave it, PAL.
They're so anxious to stomp all over the Constitution and make their little moron a Dictator. Traitors, all of them.
