Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment? * 110923 responses

Yes, between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to war and more, there is plenty to justify putting him on trial.
85%

No, like any president, he has made a few missteps, but nothing approaching "high crimes and misdemeanors."
5%

No, the man has done absolutely nothing wrong. Impeachment would just be a political lynching.
9%

I don't know.

1. Out of almost 111,000 respondents, 85% think actions do justify
impeachment. Well, what do you know! Perhaps the hibernation is over!

5. Not quite impeachable, but
enough to kick a lot of R's out in 2006...

That would be a good start.

10. No, unless he is discovered
to have done even worse stuff than this.

Sorry, I would never, ever vote for Bush, but I don't belive he's the evil monster so many here seem to. He's just a rich frat boy who's really, really in over his head. Sorry.

14. Refusing to get a warrant, even though he could have tapped
first, then waited up to 72 hours to get one afterward, isn't just "in over his head." Separation of Powers is the first principle of our democratic form of government. Ignoring congress for no good reason other than either "I don't feel like it" or "I'm doing something even more illegal, so I better do an illegal coverup so people don't find out" is wiping his ass with the constitution, basically saying the president has absolute power so long as he mumbles something about "terror" first. If that isn't a "high crime or misdemeanor", I don't know what is.

25. I went out shopping today and I was struck
by the vast array of outright insulting in your face anti-cabal bumper stickers. This is Nashua NH, at best a swing state. I think there is now a seething anger in the land, a growing awareness that the clowns in washington are a bunch of vile incompetent corrupt criminal assholes. Perhaps I am projecting my own boiling outrage, but I swear I saw exactly one wasticka and a multitude of rude subversive sentiments. I think that the people finally get it and they are pissed.
