Strange Talking Point: The End of the Democrat Party?
As I'm sure everyone here is aware, the Fascisti began using the semi-literate phrase "Democrat Party" instead of the (obviously) correct "Democratic Party". I guess they thought that their little secret phrase would make them important - like 11-year-olds do.

In Bush's recent speechifyin' I've noticed that he's not been mispronouncofyin' words - very unusual. And in his most recent speech, a bombshell - he correctly said "Democratic Party". Not only that, but I heard Rush Limbaugh correctly say "Democratic Party" the same day. Looks like the Rethuglicans have finally figured out that talking like a dumbass makes you seem... like a dumbass, and the (mis)talking point went out to the minions.

Anyone else notice this happening?

2. Statistical clustering only. Under stress they revert to English.
Sorry, I don't think it's a trend. I've never noticed the president saying "Democrat Party". If Rush slips and uses a real word instead of his politically bleached phrases like "Democrat Party" I'm not impressed. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

5. Reference
There's a bunch of examples of Bush saying "Democrat Party", e.g., http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/07/20040723-8.html from the White House.

Also, I think that O'Really has dropped this nonsense too. Interesting.

3. I didn't notice
But they say Democrat Party because they don't want people to think that we are Democratic (we are) and they aren't (they aren't).
