"Give me Liberty or give me Death!'

Is anybody watching Countdown, and that reporter was talking about the spying scandal and said that, and that the American people had to make a choice? I thought it was great. That's actually what Bush needs to hear, regarding this spying stuff. There is a certain threat of terrorist attack if the government doesn't micro-manage us and remove our civil liberties, but the spirit of the American people has always been about "Give me Liberty or give me Death", meaning that we will accept a certain amount of danger if it means our freedom otherwise. Bush needs to gain faith in the American people, that they really do have this kind of courage, because right now the policies are treating us like kids.
