On the positive side, repukes did not get clothure on the defense spending bill. This means they didn't shoe-horn in their ANWR drilling.

2. As far as the ANWR vote

Mary Landreau voted along with the Republicans and it looked like she was really
being taken to task by a whole lot of our guys. A lot of dems, especially Harry Reid seemed to be in a heated argument with her when the vote count was taking
place. At least they didn't sneak in ANWR on the Defense bill. Shame on Mary.
