Check out the post from TPM about our "Criminal President"
OUR CRIMINAL PRESIDENT
By buckley

As the conservatives gleefully recount the Lewinsky saga at every turn whenever the misconduct of Bush is mentioned, we are faced with the worst President in history breaking any law he encounters that does not fit his agenda.

The Geneva Convention is for suckers, outing a CIA agent is just the political machine in action and asking a court for wiretaps is just too much trouble.

This President does what he wants, when he wants. Just like a spoiled child or someone suffering from extreme grandiosity fueled by sycophants like Karl Rove and the paper gladiators at FOX news.

He has successfully neutralized the Democratic Party with his attacks on their patriotism when they disagree with his war strategy, but it will be difficult to go on the offensive against the laws of the land.

The FISA laws clearly allow for immediate surveillance, so his argument for the need for speed is negated. The Supreme Court, even while loaded with the likes of Scalia and Thomas, will find it hard to go against precedent. Chief Justice Roberts will be very careful to not to begin his career rubber-stamping the administration's misconduct.

The tide has turned. Bush has broken the law and written his epitaph as the worst President ever and will solidify that label when he pardons Libby and Rove.
