Ambassador Frank McKenna demanded a retraction from Burns on Monday after the senator said: "We've got to remember that the people who first hit us in 9-11 entered this country through Canada."

The mistaken belief about the 9-11 terrorists persists in the United States, despite all evidence to the contrary. U.S. officials and the commission that studied the attacks have pointed out the inaccuracy.

1. Good for McKenna
He jumped on that statement right away and DEMANDED a retraction.

We don't feel like playing nice with these crooks anymore, especially when they're slandering us.

2. Burns did not "misspeak" - he does not do his homework.
He is an idiot and a moran. I hope he loses his seat. What an embarrassment for Montana.
