1. Now this is just getting stupid
once more....

Seeing as how this *is* DU, how can you justify putting in the right-wing slots? Every vote for the right wing sides must therefore be the vote of a flamer....

Who are you backing BTW?

7. Don't let our enemies label us.
Of course everyone here would be considered left of center..Republicans like to label Kerry Supporters as communists, let alone the rest of us..
Labeling should be discouraged..Talk issues... Americans I suspect would be incapable of defining what liberal is.. I think we have allowed the likes of Karl Rove and all his earlier cronies to label liberals..To the average American a liberal would probably be considered someone who condones child molestation.Don't let them do that. Where do these steroptypes come from we let them castigate us with..Fight labeling. Talk issues like how rotten insurance compamies are and how monopoilies and profiteers are destroying American business. Don't let the likes of Rove define ourselves and we will come out on top...
If Americans knew in detail what DK stood for he would win in a landslide.

If all Kucinich supporters moved into the same city, so at least one city would go to Kucinich.

Hell at least he could claim "at least one city overwhelmingly voted for me."

18. Take the test if you haven't already to determine your place on the chart
This is a dupe from the Dean thread. Bring up the site then go to the second button "take the test" on the left. I found out when I took this on another thread that I'm a leftist libertarian like Nelson Mandela. It doen't seem to match up with any of the candidates. What a revelation! My thanks to whoever posted it first. Lots of fun.

That chart lists all of the candidates except for Sharpton and Kucinich as authoritarian/conservatives. They may be largely moderate, but not that much!

It's been many years since I've been around people who think like I do.

My ideal ballot for '04 would be: Kucinich/Braun or Kucinich/Sharpton.

I'm really starting to like Sharpton but his Rev. title bothers me a little. I'm paranoid about theocracy.

as stated before by others on this board, dennis's policies transcend a linear polar political spectrum (which is more like a circle anyway go too far on any end and you will end up on the other side). they are simply common sense. *stealing this from my boyfriend so it is ok*

my father, who is a fiscal conservative (and middling conservative on social issues) who voted for bush in 2000 likes kucinich because dennis will work to bring back the retirement age to 65, will protect workers rights, health care, and social security. my father is 54 and works (non-union) in retail; this economy is killing him in a time when he should be secure. he also is buying supplemental health insurance because the store's health insurance sucks. he is also starting to feel age discrimination in his work place, thus he is now starting to see that unions are very necessary.

dennis's fiscal policies - cancelling nafta, trimming wasteful military spending - is really what my dad likes. am in going to tell him to vote for someone else because he might not agree on his other issues? hell no.
