Clark released his military records today. I wonder if Mr. Bush will do the same?

1. Rove has no doubt declared this subject off-limits to the media.

However, if a reporter did start asking tough questions (the same day the sky fills with flying pigs), the response would be that the chimp's military records are classified for national security reasons. The AWOL issue will never be addressed, ever.

Hmmmm, I wonder how many of the 9 have served? I think those who have should make a big deal of a public showing of their military records, alltogether, one place at one time. They should at that same time DEMAND that Bush do the same, release his complete, unedited military records.

That would make the shrub a hard sell in the VFWs of the world.

4. In a parallel universe

A Republican General with a heroic war record runs against a Democrat who went AWOL from the National Guard gig his daddy pulled strings to get him.

Result? Wall-to-wall attacks from right wing media pundits and radio political jocks demanding this record be exposed for all to see. AWOL billboards. Books, and more books. Military leaders on national talk shows being asked about taking orders from an AWOL Commander-in-Chief ("How can you RESPECT someone like THAT!?!")

Back to our universe...nary a peep. We do not play by the same rules. It is as simple as that.
