We NEED Republicans! BADLY!

IMHO, The Democrats need Republicans desperately. To rid ourselves of the CANCER which is demolishing our nation these days via the illegal and immoral crimes being committed in the name of KING GEORGE and his royal minions in the House and Senate -- and, now, the NSA too. Corruption is THRIVING in DC right now. Democracy is being slowly killed at the same time. We can hardly recognize the America of 6 years ago. If not stopped, this will continue and we will quickly become a monarchy or a dictatorship because people like us just don't know how to say "NO" to slimy characters like GWB and friends.

Spying illegally on his own citizens. Accepting favors, we're talking REAL favors, from the Abramoffs, Pharma, Big Oil, and the GOP "charities" directed towards themselves who must apparently be needier than the truly needy. Sending our babies, yours and mine too, to their certain deaths in suicide military missions in humvees not equipped for Iraq so that GWB can avenge Saddam's death threats against his daddy.

That's what Iraq is all about - revenge. There's no war there. Only a stupid military exercise gone horribly wrong, with the originators Rove and Rummy and Cheney giving us all kinds of disproven reasons for the conflict since they don't have the integrity to admit that 2200 US kids died alongside countless Iraqis so a threat could be avenged. They didn't give us THAT reason, although it is the REAL reason, cuz they knew NO ONE including God would buy it.

Yet, the Reeps have been out of power for 40+ years and with the Bushies in the WH, they want to keep power, even if it means slavishly toeing the party line no matter how much we scream at them.

BUT WAIT, they're getting screwed too, just like us. Their kids are dying, they're paying more at the pump, they're losing their white collar jobs. Sticking up for the King isn't a picnic after all.

Here's the main point -- if we all start reaching out to the freeps, being gentler and less hostile, by using reasoning and understanding and congenial camaraderie rather than the ridicule I know I've been guilty of, we may change a few minds. Even if we don't change minds across the GOP board, we'll get a few here and there. And Reeps have Reep friends. There's MUCH dissatisfaction out there among Republicans as well as Democrats. Approach them the right way and we can create a groundswell which may achieve for America what the media will not -- ultimately, the removal from office of the Bushies now in power.

We can't take 3 more years of the same. WE must take back what is really ours by our own efforts if we can't get help anywhere else. But the freeps are suffering like us too. We need to make them our friends, all united against 1 common enemy, instead of being odds with each other.

they're the enablers, they deserve everything they get. And we don't need them. When we win Congress in 2006 they can sign on or get left behind.

But we really DO need those clowns. They vote just like women and independents, greenies and christians. Dems don't have enough power at present to do the job ourselves alone. We know we want what we want very strongly - the removal of the Crawford Pol Pots from the WH. But strong passion needs strong back up. We gotta take what we can get in this very important fight against corruption. In #s there IS strength.

we are ALL of us Americans. Together as Americans we're going to have to unite for the express purpose of ridding ourselves of the Bush shit. We can become Dems and reeps and gays and straights and all that jazz later after we get our country back.
