If a nuke goes off it'll burn the constitution along with everything else
So said a Republican representative from the House of Representatives on t.v.

I remember reading back in the early 1970's that there were efforts in progress by neocons to re-write the constitution... replacing "rights" with "privileges" ... and in order to do so, something BIG would have to be cooked up to put overwhelming fear in the minds of the American people... a fear so great, the American public would be willing to sacrifice all personal rights in favor or personal security.

Sound familiar? Looks like the neocons fulfilled their purpose.

Remember this: Privileges can be revoked, rights cannot.

1. I believe the sense of nationalism would burn with it.
A world populist revolt would have to occur against nuclear weapons, rogue governments and capitalism itself. I am not proposing this. I am suggesting that a sense of order would be greatly challenged. Fear of social chaos would prompt absolute fascism. We the inhabitants of this planet would finally have to pay off our karma.

5. Exactly...the logic here seems to be, "So why not just do it
ourselves?"

3. OOOOHHHH I'm SKEERED...
Give me a break. Any real American would rather die on their feet than live on their knees. Every time they get caught they try harder and harder to scare us. It just won't work any more. We have had enough.

Franklin said it well when he said "they who would give up essential liberty for temporary security deserve neither". It's time for Bush to be impeached. He committed a felony, many many times, with this illegal wire tap. Each count is worth 5 years in the pokey and a 10k fine.

Call and write your congressman, your senators and your newspapers and let them know your outrage.

9. It was Rohrbach from California
Supposedly (and only after no WMD were found) we invaded Iraq to liberate it; But now we are supposed to give up our liberties to avoid being invaded here. I won't attempt to understand these dumb and dangerous bastards. How many thousands of times have they tried making us falsely believe that Al Queda hates us because of the very same freedoms and liberty that nit wits like Rohrbach wants us to give away. The terrorists already won.
