Is tonight's speech going to be another rerun?
Or have they finally put together another new episode?

By the way, bash Bush all you want, but you gotta acknowledge that it's pretty cutting edge to run a prime-time comedy without a laugh track.

1. Want to bet that he mentions
9/11 - 10 times
terra (and combinations thereof) 20 times
Al Qaida - 4 times
Democracy and voting - 5 times

3. Or a new one
I think we'll also hear a new catchword - Iran. This could be a very fun drinking game - one shot for each "catch-word" mention; although you probably couldn't make it to the end of the speech!

5. you forgot "Victory" and "Progress"
i mean - he just learned those words... last week he used "Victory" 14 times in his speech. Surely it will get used again tonight... repeatedly...

12. You are probably misunderestimating him. I think any or all of
the themes you suggest will be used many more times than you anticipate. I also think he will have to defend himself on the eavesdropping charges.

Have you noticed that he is much more upset about this leak than he ever was about the Plame leak? To me, this seems to be a telling point.

2. No - His Ass Is Up Against The Wall, And He Knows It
I don't care how dumb the fucker is he's still got to know he is in serious trouble now. Its not like loosing Karl, this is personal. I think he will be frightened tonight and it will show. I plan on watching, and that's something I never do.

7. Precisely!
And I'm betting on tonight's performance leaning heavily toward the angry prick end of the spectrum.

Are we missing any other trigger words?

My only fear is that they will interfere with the Bears game.

11. The Iraqi people are so happy, that I, President Chuckle Nuts
gave them democracy. So much so they recently had an election, blah blah blah. So now we can't abandon them, we have to stay the course and continue to kill their happy democratic souls..

13. it's one of those montage snippet shows
where there's a loose story line, blather and "favorite scenes" sprinkled throughout to make it look a an entirely new episode...

that being said - I'm watching Carol Burnett and Tracy Ulman in Once upon a Mattress tonight... and if it gets interupted by bubble-boy stammer-filled blather -- man am I going to be p.o.'d

16. If they mess with Carol Burnett's show I'll turn it off.
There's a nice movie later on CBS. The web site for the local ABC station doesn't indicate an interruption.

18. The FCC should ban such montage snippet shows.
But that's another thread altogether.
