Do Any Of Us Have To Obey The Law Anymore?
Thinking about it this morning, while aware that force in the guise of the police or the feds can bend us to do so, but do we legally have to do so any more given the precedents in ignoring them by the WH? Will there be a Law & Order episode where a defendant pleads innocent, citing the examples of lawlessness by the president?

1. That depends on your party affiliation and your contributions thereto.

4. Try telling that to the police officer
who is coming at you for going 5 miles over the limit. "The president does it."

3. Yeah... Well .. if he can wiretap anyone he wants
why can't we all ??? As far as I'm concerned
these freeps and fundies are a bigger threat
to our national security (and our constitution)
than all the jihadists combined.

Lets bug them (in every sense) :-)

6. Exactly
I've been watching them equivocate all morning, pukes and dems alike, with statements like: haven't read the law they're quoting, not a lawyer, I think the president may be right and on and on. So they don't know the law and constitution, that there is supposed to be a balance of powers, that actually our laws are pretty clear. Are we going to continue down this road where the rule of law is replaced by the rule of spin and twist? Is principle ever again going to become primary instead of secondary to gain and win? And speaking of win, when do the good guys do so and will it be too late when and if they do? Will America the beautiful be replaced by a cold barren land where all we have to keep us warm is the illusion of lies?

8. No. You have to be a rich kid and ordained by God
to make up your own laws. Oh and being delusional doesn't hurt either.

9. It is a Good Question
As an older person, I firmly believe that Nixon's shenanigans made lying much easier throughout society. The Repugs worried about more sex after Clinton. That I haven't noticed. But now with laws being broken all over the place, it does make one wonder. I guess time will tell. (Or Law and Order)

12. It's not "I can cuz the pretzelnut did it"
It's "You can't convict me, because you didn't go after the pretzelnut for the same stuff, and that's discrimination."

Of course, by the time you get to make that point you will probably have been raped in the ass with batons or had tasers applied to your genitals or concentrated pepper spray rubbed in your eyes, so I don't recommend it.

13. No. Like when Billy Jack said: When the police are breaking the law...
...there is no law.

Or something like that, I'm going off memory here.

Either way if the Law Makers are the Law Breakers then what is the Law in the first place? Seems to me like it's just a way to keep the pitchforks and torches away from the REAL criminals.
