They HATE it when Hitler Comparison is used....
but they bring it on themselves!

As a student of history and WWII especially, I find it necessary to point out that Hitler told the Germans that he could ONLY PROTECT them against Communism if they would be willing to give up...TEMPORARILY....just a FEW civil rights. Among the fear of Communism at the time he got his way, and he NEVER GAVE THEM BACK. Just the opposite, he eventually TOOK THE REST AWAY TOO!

Benjamin Franklin once told us that anyone that gives up liberty for security, deserves NEITHER!!

This is the WORST kind of FEARMONGERING imaginable! Protecting us against terrorism by spying on American's, is not only unacceptable, it is ILLEGAL! Maybe something WAS necessary, but GEEZ GET A FISA WARRANT!! The Bush Kingdom doesn't believe in any kind of checks and balances!!

1. Why should they?
They got away with Iran-Contra. They got away with stealing 2 Presidential elections and who knows how many Congressional elections. They're getting away with violating the Geneva Conventions. They got away with pre-emptive war on innocent people. They got away with drumping on the U.N. They're getting away with lying to the American People about going to war.

Why would they consider "checks and balances?" There are NONE for them.

2. While it's true that history doesn't repeat itself exactly....
Bush has taken quite a few pages from Hitler's playbook.

3. It's not Hitler per se...
it's that Rove and Co.have used the Third Reich as their blueprint for "success".

5. the Bush family
has had ties to the Nazis from wayyyyyyyyyy back......which is something that got hidden after World War II and has slipped from public consciousness.

Using money obtained by trading with the enemy to build a political dynasty is nice work if you can manage it.

4. if the shoe fits ......

31 August 1939,
"German SS troops put on a false attack on a German radio station at Gliewitz.Dressed in Polish uniforms to convince the world that Poland is the aggressor nation and to justify their comming invasion of Poland." Kinda like WMDs, unmanned drones, mushroom clouds,
links to 9/11, mobile biological weapon's labs, M. Atta meeting with Iraqi spies, and so on.

9. Goering and Goebbels writings...
and quotes are quite chilling in light of the present misadminstration. I'm sorry if they don't like the Facsist or Nazi comparisons. They're very relevant.

6. This is a new breed of corporate fascism.
This fascism has a new face. Under the skin is very similar.

I don't see Bush having a holocaust, but he will hand all the cash he can to the big corporations, and take it away from the little guy.

Goebbel's would be proud of Rove.

10. The comparison is uncannily accurate.
From Reichstadt fires, to secret spying. The list is long. And includes his grandfather funding Nazis.

The comparison fits like a glove. It's undeniable. And it's not one I want to make. They forced it on us.

11. Actually Bush reminds me more of
Mark Chapman - who killed lennon, or David Berkowitz - son of sam- or Charlie Manson more than Hitler. I mean All these serial killer dudes heard christ talking thru him and than went off on a killing spree because god told them.. Hmm let me rethink my Hitler position. You may be on too something.

15. Good! We need to use that comparison all the more then!
Of course they hate it. Whenever they hear that comparison, it worries them that Joe Sixpack might hear it and start wondering if it's true.

16. You'd better wake up and smell the Zyclon-B...
if you can't see how close we are to having a fuhrer instead of a president, you aren't looking.

I'll bet you all those IDIOTS, who couldn't see the difference between Bush and Al Gore in 2000, have 20/20 vision about now!

Bush lies people die...Hitler did the same things. People like Saddam, Hitler, Stalin and that insane bastard in North Korea right now...SPY ON THEIR CITIZENS.

17. let's not forget the "youth movement"
The idea that parents have to let recruiters roam the halls of public schools smacks of the ideology of the Hitler Youth Movements.

20. It really does!
Edited on Sun Dec-18-05 02:28 PM by Hubert Flottz
Hitler had the kids ratting out their parents just like the cops try and get kids to do NOW! The GESTAPO disappeared people just like Bush has been doing. Hitler didn't start killing and torturing millions of people on day one. He started out slow and easy, just like Bush has been doing. The more power Hitler grabbed the more bold he became. Once Hitler had absolute power without any checks and balances, he did as he pleased, just like Bush has started doing, since he gained control over ALL THREE branches of our government! If congress and the justice department don't smack Bush down over this latest scandal, then Bush will go right on thumbing his nose and the severity and savagery of his crimes, will increase as time goes on. If Congress and the Courts fail to act, the party's over.

Hitler wasn't the first despot to come slithering down the pike and Bush won't be the last either.

19. Bush would make lampshades out of us all.
This is where the comparison is most fitting. It's all about the money. Whether it's Jews or corporations. In the end, the gas chambers do not distinguish. The bullets kill just the same. The violation of the fourth amendment is still violated.

He cares not about people. The People. We can go to hell. It's the money. It was no different with Hitler.
