It becomes more and more apparent that they allowed it to happen by having our defenses stand down.

5. Perhaps the Dems should have/should expose the abject FAILURE
on and before 9/11...but they did not, nor do they seem to ever be willing to do so.

Imagine the fascists without this emotional club/rallying cry they use to beat and bludgen any and all rational/logical thought.

6. Everything Else We Suspected About This Despicable & Reprehensible.....
*Co administration has been proven to be true - the lies, the torture, the flawed intelligence, the spying, etc. Why is it so hard to believe LIHOP or MIHOP? Those towers didn't go down because of the jet fuel. They were imploded - just like countless buildings, stadiums and hotels have been imploded all around the country. Who benefited the most from 911? and who is continually using 911 to his advantage? Come on people - wake up!!!!!!!

7. There's going to be another Sept 11
That's right. I have specific knowledge about this from multiple sources. There will most certainly be another September 11.

It's going to happen in about 9 months. That's right.

It'll be everywhere in the US at once, starting with the east coast at midnight, but within 3 hours, the entire continental US will be affected. Alaska and Hawaii will be a little later, but they're not going to avoid it.

Specifically, it will be the day after September 10. If you wait until September 12, you're too late and you missed it. I checked several calendars, just to be sure.

That is, if we're willing to believe that it was an event beyond his control.

14. but two buldings got blown up and 5,000 people died
It was the most horrible event in human history ever.

"On Tuesday September 11, 2001, at least 35,615 of our brothers and sisters died from the worst possible death, starvation. Somewhere around 85% of these starvation deaths occur in children 5 years of age or younger. Why are we letting at least 30,273 of the most beautiful children die the worst possible death everyday? Every 2.43 seconds another one of our fellow brothers and sisters dies of starvation. Starvation doesn't just happen on Tuesday September 11, 2001, it happens everyday, 365 days per year, 24 hours per day, it never stops."

19. What hurts me deep inside is what has been done in the name of...
those New Yorkers who died. New Yorkers. Not Bush's people. The kitchen staff at Windows on the World. The secretarys. The Dads and husbands who just went to work in their offices, as they did every weekday, and never came home. I knew some of these people. I still weep for them. I wish for us never to forget, them or the those who died on the airplanes, and at the Pentagon. But not this way. Not George Bush's way, not as his mantra.

I remember DU when the Towers fell. The tragedy was a human, not a political, tragedy. I remember the first post. "Oh, my God." And I'm sickened that we are at a point when we can be sick of hearing about the event that took these lives, in horror.

20. They constantly say "Never forget 9/11" or "We will never forget 9/11"
They are afraid that we have or will forget so they remind us at least five days a week. The other two days are shopping days so we should forget everything else and just spend like tomorrow is going to be 9/11 all over again and we might need that extra plastic thing and not have it after the tragedy happens.

It's all or nothing with this group. No moderation in spending or in grief. Just keep poking at that sore to remind us that we could get another sore at any time ... unless we spend, spend, spend ... like drunken monkeys.

22. It is a very cogent point
Edited on Sun Dec-18-05 02:29 PM by BerryBush
that it is like an insult to all the people who died because of the acts of 9/11--in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania--to use their deaths as an excuse to attack and kill other people willy-nilly--and use others as cannon fodder doing the attacking--whether or not the people being attacked had anything whatsoever to do with those events.

And it is an insult to overlook all the many human tragedies that happen every day because of "9/11, 9/11, 9/11." I do not think those who died on 9/11 would all be very happy about that, either. Is 9/11 any more tragic in that sense than a child beaten to death, a homeless person who starves, a wealthy person who despite the best efforts of medical science dies of cancer anyway?

One single, terrible, spectacular mass murder should not be used as an excuse to forget all the tragedies that happen every day in this world--nor as an excuse to create more that do nothing to avenge or correct the original outrageous act.

24. We should borrow a trick from Rove's book and make it an albatross
And unlike Rove, we wouldn't have to lie to do it.

Just push the evidence into the mainstream debate.

find out the truth about 9/11 and the boulder rolls down hill. The key is 9/11. Everything they have done to this country-the war, bullying in their policies, taking away civil liberties is linked to what happened on 9/11. Because they use 9/11 for everything they have done, the truth needs to be exposed. I refuse to believe that our country could have been that defenseless, that unprotected. I have seen the timeline on what happened that day and something doesn't pass the smell test. And you know, 9/11 is such a marketing tool. 911, the number you dial for an emergency, has such a marketing quality about it.

28. Did anyone ever see all the PDB ? I saw this,"weeks, many many
dead, very very big uproar possibly using hijacked commercial jets as suicidal weapons to be crashed into skyscrapers in New York City,Chicago and Washington DC." That was on page 2 of the Aug 6 2001 PDB. During
April 2004 at the hearings that document was produced. it was briefly shown on my tv and thats what intrigued me. Not only has that paragraph been deleted but it was troubling and disturbing. Weeks, many
dead, big uproar. I'm sorry I didn't have the VCR running it seems I missed capturing that moment.
Here's another you may have missed. George Tenet claimed on camera under oath,"he did not meet with the president during August 2001" bush was in crawford he,was in maryland. Later that afternoon after testifying
Tom Kean and Tenet briefly added a correction for the record. George Tenet would like to amend his testimony to include meeting bush on Aug.18 2001- Aug 25 2001(at crawford) and Aug 31 2001..Three meetings with bush during the summer of threat the system was blinking red and Tenet couldn't remember on camera. That
snip never aired again either !!
