The requirement of music in any successful anti-war movement is very deeply rooted in universals of human psychology. There is no way around it whatsoever. No quantity or quality of merely verbal information can do it. ONLY with the universal human emotional language of music is it ultimately possible to overcome the advantages of those in charge of war propaganda. If people at sites like DU were doing more to move attention towards the many anti-war musicians on the web, we would be MUCH closer to actually bringing the troops home.
