Poll question: The Senate has voted against the "Patriot" Act renewal, will LIHOP occur?
9/11, episode two?

http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/20B77CE4-BB75-4F35-A8C8-DB9F5339A89C.htm

Democrats in the US Senate, along with several rebel Republicans, blocked passage of a new Patriot Act to combat terrorism on Friday, by 52 votes to 47.

The vote fell eight shy of the 60 needed to end the debate. The current act expires on 31 December and Republicans have rejected a call for a short-term measure to prevent the expiration.

"rebel republicans"? Who wrote this anyway, Karl Rove?!

2. My thoughts, too. If the PA goes down, MIHOP will happen and
it will doom the democrats forever. It will be dems that block the PA, therefore it will be dems that the fault falls on.

Keep you head down!

8. exactly.
This could really go well for the repukes. They could send dems into oblivion forever. They may already have something in place, ready to destroy someone, somewhere. That's what scares me.
