The Repugs are defending this NSA crap!
I am not really surprised. I realize that the hypocrisy of the republicans is bottomless.
But to defend the President's violation of the Constitution and spying on American citizens, we have to accept that it is Hitler in the bunker time. They will never turn against him!
And don't tell me about the Patriot Act vote or the anti-torture shit. Just read the Graham amendment and the fact that this NSA story means that * acts with impunity and does whatever the hell he wants no matter what congress does!

4. It is not hypocrisy so much as abject stupidity and ignorance.
White bread christian goody two shoe citizens who support their fascist government because they are confident they are not targets
are not living under guaranteed freedoms. They are living within the whims of the rich and powerful.
MORONS!

10. Tell your Repug relatives and neighbours ...
... that you have 'good, solid intelligence' that they're being surveilled by the government. Then see if they still think it's a great idea.

5. They believe in FEAR and they have no real feelings
other than the fear that rules them. They excuse all that they do because the "boogy man" (that scary, imaginary thing under the bed) needs to be caught and controlled.

6. It's really easy to shut up Pukes on this subject
Just say, "I'm sure you'll be happy to give President Hillary the same powers."

7. That's what hypocrisy means;
Of course they know how aberrant this act was. When they defend it, they don't believe what they are saying. The majority of republicans will back this President no matter what.
To name a few Rep politicians with the balls to speak out are just exceptions. It's like talking about the Dems and quoting Lieberman!

9. Reminds me vividly of that line in
Animal Farm:

"You don't want Farmer Jones to come back, now, do you???"

WE're being pulled along in the name of this stupid nonsense, only Farmer Jones is Terrorism.
