This site gives a time-line from the 2000 election through the end of 2001. It is amazingly detailed and comprehensive about everything Bushco was doing as well as little known tidbits. Did you know that a writer for the National Review advocated the murder of Chelsea Clinton, the myth of the WH being trashed by the Clintonistas was proven false and that the TV show The Lone Gunman did a show about how planes could be crashed into buildings by remote control? It goes into the death of Joe S.'s dead intern and much much more. Everything is sourced.

4. The Lone Gunmen Ep Was a Fluke

I was a huge fan of the show, and got to talk to one of the stars this past summer. He says that the episode of the plane almost crashing into the WTC was a total fluke. Believe me, there are enough people around that think that Chris Carter (creator of The X-Files and TLG) had a direct line into the "shadow government". He didn't. It was all good conjecture.

BTW, if you ever want to see a really good series that was cancelled WAAAY ahead of its time, go for "The Lone Gunmen". It's a hoot, and describes a lot of US personally. :D

7. I loved it and was so disappointed when it was cancelled.

I guess the lone gunmen weren't glamorous enough for the networks. They had the spy girlfriend for sex appeal, the one who was always rescuing them, but I guess they should have used her more in the first season to get an audience hooked on them.

Hi, saw the traffic from DU and thought I'd thank the posters in here for their kind comments about my site. (I've posted in DU before, but it's been a while, so instead of trying to dredge up my old login and password from what passes for my memory these days, I just created a new login.)

It's a labor of "love," insomuch that I've taken on the Sisyphean task of documenting the conservative takeover of American politics and society from 1897 till the present...the present being July 2004, which is as far as I've gotten. Sucks to have to document so much corruption and so much criminal activity. I'm hoping for a respite beginning around 2008.

Don't know why. I've emailed the host with a query. Judging from past outages, it shouldn't be long before it's back up. He must be having major server problems, because it went down yesterday and back up this afternoon.
