Is Dubya really a "bullshitter"?
I mean, "bullshitters" will pat you on the back and pretend you are as special as a long, lost brother. They will call you nicknames, pretending they are terms of endearment. They will exaggerate the threats of their perceived foes. They like to play jokes on people, especially when it is at someone else's expense, rather than their own. They always say things that they regret later. "Bullshitters" usually have an arrogance that covers up a deep insecurity. And "bullshitters" will insinuate something without coming right out and saying it. He will leave the impression and will not go back to correct it. Just as Dubya has done with his "imminent threat' comments.

How many times have we seen Dubya put his arms around someone, like the fireman at the WTC, and pretend this is one of his closest friends? And it is all a pretension. And how many times have we seen him use nicknames to personalize and minimize a potential antagonist? He does this even with newspeople. It's "Slim" or "Big John" or whatever. Remember how he came up with the "Axis of Evil"? A term which he probably regretted saying..?? Very little of what a bullshitter says can be taken with any degree of sincerity. In my opinion, George W Bush is a major "bullshitter".

1. Yet another handle for the smirk
Fits the psychological profile of a 'dry drunk' to a tee. He never went through therapy when he quit drinking and the symptoms (denial, inability to admit failure) are classic.

2. Big time "bullshitter!"
That fake country talk, my Grandparents had a farm, I've been around country folks my whole life, he doesn't use the the familar country slang. Educated country folks use an interesting mix of proper english and country slang in conversation. The way he speaks is his version of how he thinks country folks talk, use of improper english, I find it very insulting.

8. Indeed!
As someone who grew up in cow country, I can verify that country people don't often use the word, "Fabulous."

4. There is more
shit that comes out of that idiot bastard's mouth than comes out his ass. He is a master at lying and deceiving....and covering up.This has to be the most sinister mis-administration in American history. I can't believe anything any of them say.And as far as dim son is concerned,he is and always has been a loser who will stoop to the lowest level to get what he wants and make himself out to be one of the nicest guys on the planet. It's appalling he's getting by with it. :puke:

6. he's also a big bluffer
remember when someone asked if he was going to ask for another UN vote before the war, he said yes, it's time for everyone to put their cards on the table. But when it became clear he'd lose, he backed out.

9. I don't think he's a bullshitter I think he's a shit.
In this part of the country a bullshitter actually has some positive connotations. One o the guys. A real card.

Someone being a shit............ that's different.

He's a real shit.

13. Here it's completely the opposite.
If you call someone a "shit" it has an almost endearing quality to it, such as, "Oh he such a little shit." or "what a stinker he is." People use the term usually to describe family members or friends who pulled some harmless bratty stunt or prank.
But being called a "bullshitter" by country folks in my neck of the woods will get you shunned faster than two shakes of a lamb's tail.

like his "Home to the Heartland Tour" when he was campaigning??? Ya, he's a bullshitter, liar and a phony. He know shit about the "Heartland" and moreover couldn't give a shit less about it or the people who live there.

11. He didn't come up with that term,
"axis of evil". I believe ne of his speech writers did. He doesn't think creatively enough to devise such slander.

14. Ha Ha! To call someone a POS in country talk that's the absolute
worst of namecalling and in his case certainly deserved.
