Did * admit to an utterly different rationale for the war.today??

Seem to me it is a substantially different Spin.

We though Saddam had WMD but we were wrong., but he was a despot and having a stable Democracy in the Middle East would be a beacon for like minded Muslims in Iran and Syria.

So we invaded Iraq basically to destabilize its neighbors.

The argument I assume get extended to oil, in that a democratic power-broker friendly to the US creates a counterweight to high Saudi Oil prices. So we get cheaper oil and a move away from despots in the region via a people's rebellion.

Well if you think about the NeoCOn Nexus of lobbyists and think tanks and their assorted connections to the oli industry...it all sort of fits together.

But let's begin to take apart the flawed logic behind this theory and evidenced with the reality on the ground in the region.

Anyone seen any connections between oil for food scandals and folks identified as being part of the NeoCon cabal?

OLE COKE JAW YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A BIG BOLD, BULLY ASSHOLE LIAR!

when he knew that lying about WMD, SADDAM HUSSEIN, 9/11 and the connection to IRAQ, etc.etc.etc., WOULD buy him SUPPORT for his damn war,he lied his ass out, he knew it. he didn't care. he wanted his war. he wanted saddam hussein out, he wanted iraq's oil. he got it. he didn't care about the number of people dead, dying, and maimed. he just had to have his end just like an alcoholic has to have his bottle. he lied his ass out.

now...when he thinks that, "coming clean, being honest, etc., etc., etc.", and after thousands of dead people both iraqis and americans,is going to buy him support for his damn war, etc., etc., etc., he takes responsibility for the faulty intelligence because it should have been something "he knew?".... the asshole is lying out his ass again because he thinks his contrived honesty will buy him approval for himself, his job performance, his war, his lying ass soul.

And, as i hear what he said, he didn't say, " i lied to you because i wanted to" he is saying, "i accept responsibility for the faulty intelligence other people handed me... and for acting on it,still placing blame on the intelligence people.

What a tangled web of lies doth the snarler weave, indeed: Lies are his props! He knows that he cannot stand on his own.

He lied about getting the most votes. He lied about WMDs. HE LIED ABOUT HIS TANG SERVICE. HE LIED ABOUT ... just what has GWB not lied about?
