Seniors on medicare should have complete prescription coverage
Some people might disagree with that, but I feel it needs to be done. Seniors still won't be able to afford their drugs under Part D, which covers only a portion. I think that needs to be a campaign issue, because Part D cost too much and has very little benefit. On top of that, the Republicans want to ban reimportation of drugs claiming it's unsafe. Seniors are part of medicare, it's not so much to add a benefit so they can get their medicine.

are you sure we can trust those Canadians? Haven't you read of the thousands of them who die each year from their unsafe prescription drug supply?

2. I've been wading thru the medicare.gov site trying to find my dad
a plan to cover his meds. Right now he's paying $638 per month for his meds.
I believe it is criminal to burden the elderly with these scams they call prescription drug coverage.

3. Scrap This Corporate Scam and Re-do the Whole Program

I think people should do what most of them are apparently going to do anyway, and not sign up for this horrible mishmash of changing coverage, and hope that they just kill the thing in Congress. Then, if they want to start over, they should cover prescriptions the way Medicare covers everything else--blanket coverage, and just pay for the damn thing under Medicare and let people go wherever they want, just so they have a valid diagnosis--then it would be a real program. As it is, this was never supposed to help people--"donut holes," different plans with coverage that will change with no notice, the people themselves trying to figure all these muddled, unexplained "plans," rather than just having Medicare handle the billing, etc., as with every other thing covered. All this shit! Republicans fucked this whole thing up deliberately, just to divert yet more tax money to their corporate pharmaceutical/insurance friends and contributors, and to destroy the hopes of anyone who wanted real prescription coverage. They are trying to bankrupt the country.
