For my 500th post-because i want to
Everyone usually does this for their 1,000th post but you know, i just wanted to say how thankful i am for DU. You guys are some of the funniest, intelligent people i have "never" met before. Everyone keeps me on my toes and makes me want to make sure i have evidence to back up my claims before broadcasting them to the repukes and express my opinions and dissent about this administration. I just hope most people my age (around 22 and such) realize how wonderful it is to have a place like this where we can ask anyone for help about anything. Thanks folks...sorry to get all sappy, but it has taken awhile for me to get to 500 and it will hopefully be shorter for me to get to 1,000. :)

2. Had to check your profile to see how long it took to get to 500 ..
just over a year. :toast: Ahh just speak when you can. Youth is wasted on the young anyway and your still young. Just givin ya a hard time. :) Hey I know the people that owned 'Cowboys and Indians' Antique store in Bloomington, and also the Gun shop out there. Ever heard or been in that place? Think it's closed down now..... anyway all the best. Yea these people on this site are great. Peace and another :toast:

4. Well like I said the people who owned both places are .....
gettin up in years now. I believe they pretty much sold all the stuff off, retired. Both places were on a main street out there when I went to visit 2 years ago. And they were liquidating it all then. Anyway good luck in your Senior year at IU! I got a Hoosier hat when I was out there. Lots of snow lately I heard. peace :)

5. We're glad to be here too..
But I'm so sorry to have to tell you that the whole country used to be a "place like this where we can ask anyone for help about anything". I'm so sorry that you and my sons (just a touch younger than you) missed it. We're all trying very hard to bring that America back.
