Santa has a giant gift for all Americans!
Edited on Mon Dec-12-05 04:29 PM by dfgrbac
This gift is so huge, not in physical size, but in political significance. It is a gift that will keep on giving, not only to us and our children but to the whole world to which it sets an example. This gift is going to change the course of history!

The gift is DEMOCRACY, real DEMOCRACY! Specifically, it's called the National Initiative for Democracy.

We all feel that we have no power. The corporations have drained the people's power from us while they accumulate power to themselves. But we have no power only because we do not use it. Our Constitution reserves the sovereignty of this country to the people, not our elected officials.

Former Democratic Senator Mike Gravel (of Alaska) has made it easy for us (and Santa)! He has formed a group that has put together a formalized law and constitutional amendment that we can vote for. Much work has been put into the design of this legislation to ease the people's law making power.

I hope you will join with me in deciding we have had enough of this corrupt government system and vote for democracy. You can vote at the website. And then please support it with at least a one dollar donation to keep the ball rolling, and become an activist for real democracy by informing others about this initiative and get them to vote and support it.

Once enacted, the National Initiative will formally empower us to directly act on the problems that are impacting our lives, instead of depending on our representatives who are only obligated to corporations and their money.

Democracy is still possible in America! It's not too late - YET!
