ROBERTSON: We've won the war already, and for the Democrats to say we can't win it -- what kind of a statement is that? And furthermore, one of the fundamental principles we have in America is that the president is the commander in chief of the armed forces and attempts to undermine the commander in chief during time of war amounts to treason. I know we have an opportunity to express our points of view, but there is a time when we're engaged in a combat situation that carping criticism against the commander in chief just doesn't cut it. And I think that yes, we have freedom of speech -- of course we do -- but this has gone over the top and I think the Republicans are -- well, they've taken advantage.

we've already done all of the good that we can possibly do in Iraq; it's all diminishing returns from this point (i.e. after these elections) forward. If we value Responsibility and Independence, "standin on one's own feet", and not needing Handouts(!), the U.S. must go Home. Yeah, we've "won". It is now time to define some Type (i.e. Class of Characteristics, a set of general conditions) of an "End" to BushCo's Invasion of Iraq, general traits for which specifics have to be worked out, the end.

Except that what I expect to see will really be something more like Leave without Leaving. PNAC wants their Permanent Bases.

Are we at war, or aren't we? If we've "won" why is our military still killing and dying? If we're at war, then we're supposed to look the other way on the president's shortcomings? But if we're not really at war, then it's okay to cut government assistance to the neediest of our fellow citizens? But if we're at war, why aren't you encouraging your audience to sign up for the military?
