Jynona Norwood (left) and Althea Norwood Roberts (holding Theona Norwood Roberts) place 27 flowers on the grave of their relatives at Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland on Friday. Twenty-seven members of the Norwood family were among the nearly 1,000 who died in 1978 in the Jonestown, Guyana, Peoples Temple massacre orchestrated by its leader, the Rev. Jim Jones.
