10. Some of us are unhappy with the job Dean is doing.
There are a few threads up about it.

11. Skimmed the "Recall Dean" thread.
Don't look like much. Handful of disgruntled Dean-haters.

12. On this website, maybe...
I've read things, though. And I've heard things. I'll be very surprised if Dean remains chairman through 2006.

For the record, I'm not a "Dean hater." I wanted to feel that his appointment could achieve what the Party needed it to. I no longer believe that. No, not going into details as we clearly disagree and this isn't the thread for a debate anyway. Just saying, for some of us, not all of us, but many, it isn't about hate, bashing, irrational or fickle criticism--it's about not seeing the appointment achieve what we wanted the next appointment to achieve.

15. Cool. Agree to disagree.
But he ain't goin' nowhere. It would be the worst sign of weakness
to ax one of the few Dems who tells it like it is. I wish he (and
other Dems) were even more fearless in critting the RW & the war.
It only pisses me off when he backs off, as with the "out of context"
BS. Sorry about the Dean-hater comment as you're not, but there a few
of them around here. Peace.

14. Heh. Yep. I say we cut him loose for this reason alone.
:-) Kidding. I want him to go because he isn't what I think the Party chairman needs to be, along with some other things. But sometimes, when I look at that video, I think: 'Kay, Governor Smartie-Pants, since you're obviously so aware, run for President again and beat the machines. Good luck with that. I'm sure you'll be able to sweet-talk the media into giving your concerns some good coverage. Oh, wait...

16. Of course...
He's raised more money during his time as Chair than his predecessors and the bulk of that money has not come from corporate types. This means that when the big donors get on board we will have even more money. People who want Dean to go are the same types who agree with the media that he's too aggressive. His type of aggressiveness has worked for puke chairs. But...when the pukes do it it's called assertive, when we do it it's called divisive.

17. I seem to recall early on he was ahead of pace on fundraising but
scaring the DLC types because he was raising money from lots of regular people (just like his campaign) NOT from corporations who will ask for their pound of flesh later.
