Have all the investigations fizzled out?
Rove is in the clear and it seems like Fitz is going nowhere. I keep hearing from both sides that the chances of a DeLay conviction are slim. Frist seems to be safe for now and Rush seems to have gotten off completely

Am I just being impatient or have these guys managed to cover their tracks completely/

2. I doubt DeLay is getting off
Even if he is not convicted, his re-election chances are pretty slim.

3. Fitz is always quiet
until he strikes. He just met with a new grand jury which he wouldn't do to go nowhere.

delay had one charge dropped because it wasn't illegal then.

I don't know about rush, never followed it.

There is even more that's even worse then delay being looked at. People are just starting to sing and that money laundering goes far and wide.

Really don't know where you are getting your idea, unless you were joking

4. Investigations are like barbecue
Keep barbecue on low heat for a long time, then turn up the heat at the end, and it's perfect.

Keep barbecue on high heat for two hours and you get a burned husk that is inedible.

Just the metaphor of the day.

7. You don't empanel a grand jury to EXONERATE someone
Where there is smoke, there is fire. Rove is in hot water.

8. How do you get Rove is "in the clear?" Fitz deposed Rove's attny Luskin
and Time's Viveca Novak just a few days ago. I don't imagine he'd be doing that if the Book of Rove was closed.

Fitz is presenting info and depositions given under oath to the new sitting grand jury. So how do you figure the investigation "fizzled out" when it's still going on?

And apparently you've missed that not so small matter of the Abramoff investigation.

9. Don't drink the kool-aid
They want you to believe all is well in the House of Bush* but it just ain't so...it's the holiday season so nothing much is happening but come January things will ramp up again.

11. Perhaps part of the problem is too many "Law and Order"
episodes. These aren't fictional murder investigations on tv, and they don't get neatly wrapped up in an hour. In the real world, the more powerful the perp, the longer it takes to bring them down.
