What a silly little cliche that is. Ever notice its irony? Once said, you can expect to have to repeat your point a brazillian more times. But in its nature it was supposed to be the be all end all that shut people up. It never is.

Once and for all... Really, it's Once and for all (the rest of the day I will be repeating it)

Much like To make a long story short is really To make a long story short (would be too much effort, so I'm gonna bore you for the next half hour with a story you could give a rats ass about)

Or when someone leads off a statement with "Honestly? I blah blah" you know they are about to manipulate the fuck out of you.

Ok, just my worthless thoughts :)
