4. Bush on torture
Fidelista today at Bellaciao described Our Leader's workings this way:

...This was vividly demonstrated in one of the revolting scenes in recent American history: Bush's State of the Union address in January 2003, delivered to Congress and televised nationwide during the final frenzy of war-drum beating before the assault on Iraq.

Trumpeting his successes in the Terror War, Bush claimed that "more than 3,000 suspected terrorists" had been arrested worldwide - "and many others have met a different fate."

His face then took on the characteristic leer, the strange, sickly half-smile it acquires whenever he speaks of killing people: "Let's put it this way. They are no longer a problem."

10. "the characteristic leer, the strange, sickly half-smile"
The same look that came on his face in the 2000 debate with Al gore, when W commented on how many people were killed on death row in Texas, while he(W)pretended, to be the governor there.

The smirk of death! You can see that same look in the interviews with some of the serial killers filmed in prisons around the world. The, "I did it because I could" look... But killing for votes is a worse crime than doing it for any other reason I can think of. And the fact that Karl probably thought that having the record for the most people killed on death row, in Texas, under Bush's watch as governor, was a GREAT POLITICAL ASSET, makes the killing seem even more perverted and inhuman. Bush even joked about killing Miss Tucker. The killing escalated when the crew came to Washington and Karl thought they needed to do some more killing in Iraq, to gain some political victories and to keep the GOP "Base" purring like a well oiled kitten. It takes lots of KILLING to make a War pResident...

Now Bush has another 2,100 dead Americans to swagger and smirk about, in front of his hand picked crowds. Putting the power of life and death in the hands of Bush, is a crime the highest court in the nation has a willing hand in, why would any just God, or anyone else, still be on OUR side as a nation?

Torturing and or Killing, of unarmed POWs is what you'd expect criminals and mass murderers do, not statesmen.

5. The "red hot poker" line that Bush is singing
Edited on Sat Dec-10-05 10:53 PM by SpiralHawk
is directly referencing Gary Trudeau's Doonesbury sunday comic of a couple of weeks ago.

Can anyone get that and post it in this thread?

Apparently -- factually -- Bush's frat used to brand pledges with red hot coat hangers.

ewwww.

(Can't find the original Doonesbury comic to link to, but here's a link to an article about it in Editor & Publisher, a great publication in my estimation -- doing a heckuva job (for real).

'Doonesbury' Strip Showing Bush Defending Torture at Yale is 'Fact-Based,' Says Trudeau
