Tutti-Fruitti Twinkles used to be sold until somebody decided it was turning people homosexual (heck, look at the size of the fireman's hose...). That's when it was yanked (and not in the good way) and replaced with this:




A totally harmless, Christian-friendly cereal in big green manly letters. This one even offers a plus hrabbit toy for only 500 proof of purchase labels! All you need do is see its backside...

the population problem
the energy crisis
the economy -e.g. offshoring and offpeopling and the devaluation of what's left

Speculation on how those in power will resolve these, if they will, or if they will find it more profitable to kill us off. Issues that affect US ALL.

The needs of the many vs the needs of the few.

It's sad to see the mainstream media be so irresponsible in what it chooses to cover. For example is this:

Are there not better things to talk about, that affect many people in REAL ways? Or are the people so fuckin' SHALLOW they're being shielded from the nastiness of reality because Wookie and an errant air marshall are easier to understand? :eyes:

To nitpick on things that happen to one person, especially the examples of late, is an embarrassment. Especially for this Wookie guy. And if the reich wing thinks he's found God, let them live with him for a year. See? That's all that needs to be said! We don't need 10,000 posts solely devoted to that guy. reminds me of the distractions the repubs used in the 2004 election..the so-called values issues. certainly not important but a lazy press will glom onto it, doesn't require very much research and it's simplistic.
