Democratic Senators can redeem themselves NOW with questioning the lies
So many of us have posted here about our disgust as to why many of our democratic senators actually voted to support Bush in regards to the war back last October. I've done much soul searching myself on this and felt that I had to look at the big picture when it came to our democratic senators and include such important areas as choice, judges, environment, education, etc and ask "How has my senator done overall in all these areas".

However, I'm still nagging about that vote in October. I mean, I'm quite pleased with my 2 senators Biden and Carper when it comes to all the other areas. They have both stuck with the filibusters on bad judges (which Carper suprised me, I thought he would bolt), the are pro-environment and pro-choice. After years of republican senators (AKA Spector and Santorum), a girl couldn't ask for anything better that having democrats finally representing her in DC.

And yet I'm still nagged about that vote.

But I am encouraged.

Everyday I read how the democratic senators are pushing for more answers about the "misinformation" that the Bush regime claimed was our excuse for war. It is encouraging. But I know what will piss off this life time supporter of the democrats is if now, when they are finding out that they were lied to back in October, is if they back down on this investigation.

Maybe some of you won't think this is enough and I can appreciate where you are coming from on this one. But you can be assured that if senate democrats back down on this issue the democratic party as an entity will be considered obsolete!!!

1. I agree. This is their last chance to redeem themselves.
It's already too late to save most of our population from paying a terrible price for what the Busheviks have done in just 2 1/2 short years. But the Democrats do have an opportunity now to destroy the Busheviks. I'm listening to C-Span2, & today, and for a change, I like what I'm hearing. I hope they will be absolutely merciless.

2. Bush has given Dems who voted for the war a perfect chance for redemption.
"Mr. President, I believed you. I trusted you, and you have betrayed that trust."

I know it's lame, but a ltt better than the silence we're getting from a lot of Dems.

3. Nothing gets a politician in a frenzy like blood in the water
Their natural instincts take over and they just go into bloodlust-mode.

4. Thanks to all the people all over the world
and the handful of politicians who stood their ground for the truth and forged the way. The leaders.

5. I feel they will eventually have to pay for their stance

however, the 2004 election is not the time to do it. This year a bad democrat is better than a good republican. Much as it hurts my independent heart, the power is in the numbers.

If we receive a comfortable majority 2006 will be time enough to whittle away at the "losers".
