Iran Threatens Israel: Kerry Condemns, Bush Lets Iran "Win"
Iran's president reminded all of us on Thursday just how much of a threat Iran poses to Israel -- and how far outside of the mainstream Iran really is. Two months ago, Iran's president insisted that Israel "must be wiped off the map;" yesterday, he questioned whether the Holocaust happened, and suggested that Israel should be moved to Europe.

Democratic Senator John Kerry eloquently took-on Iran's president yesterday: "For the leader of any country to question whether the Holocaust happened and suggest Israel be moved to Europe is beyond unacceptable. ...If President Ahmadinejad has any doubts about the Holocaust, he should have the guts to visit Auschwitz or talk to Holocaust survivors about the horrors they can never forget."

Meanwhile, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported recently that AIPAC -- the central organization lobbying for Israel on behalf of American Jews -- has criticized the Bush Administration's handling of Iran. The Administration recently endorsed Europe's plan to let Iran continue nuclear development, despite grave concerns that Iran -- a key threat to Israel -- wants to acquire nuclear weapons.

1. Kerry handled that eloquently.
Said exactly what needed to be said, and nothing more.

2. Ahmadinejad is either insane, or he's a windbag.
He seems compelled to say stupid things to draw fire from DUH-bya. Has he seen what happened to Iraq?!!

Or, he could be making the obligatory noise for the religious police in their pursuit of world domination.

Either way, I think he's certifiable.

3. I think the Iranian people are questioning him now
They voted him in thinking he was strong against the US and Israel, but they didn't think he was nuts or warmongering. Now, that might start changing.
