If you kids want to laugh a bit this morning head over to the Amazon site and read the reader reviews (192!!) for the new Michael Moore book, "Dude, where's my country?"

I HAVE TO PLAY ENFORCER HERE. IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THE MENTALLY ILL LIBERALS--WHO REACT SAVAGELY AND MISHANDLE THEIR OWN REACTIONS AFTER HEARING ANYTHING CONCERNING BUSH--HAVE BEEN SUBMISSIVELY CONFORMING TO THEIR BAD REPUTATION BY GETTING SO DISCONTENT ABOUT CONSERVATIVES' VIEWPOINTS, THEY FRENETICALLY POSE AS DIFFERENT REVIEWERS FOR COULTER AND O'REILLY'S BOOKS SO THEY CAN PESSIMISTICALLY INFLUENCE THE RATING SCALE.

4. light on facts, heavy on hate

That is one thing that rings in the one-star reviews, seldom is there any mention of the books specifics.

Instead what we get is Oreilly-Coultier-esque personal attacks and blustering, contemptuous sneers with no details or arguments with facts.

They hang themselves with the words they write and I’m happy this is a country where they are given the freedom to display their hate and ignorance.

3. conservatives don't like MM - even the ones on DU.

5. I wish Amazon would restrict reveiws to

people who bought the book. Don't let people review it if they didn't buy it from them. Almost every negative review I read of this and similar books is from people who didn't read it.

7. Au contraire! There is no better entertainment than a reviewer who

has not read the book, and uses big words with no idea what they mean. Almost as funny as MM's book!

6. You can get reviews removed if they violate amazon's guidelines!

I got a really inappropriate freeper-type review removed last week and this morning I sent in another five. Here is the info on amazon's website about reviews and removing those that violate the rules:

"Comments on other reviews or features visible on the page. (This information, and its position on the page, is subject to change without notice.)
Notification that our catalog has typos in it. If you'd like to tell us about a specific problem, or want some additional information on a product, please send us e-mail at [e-mail].

Amazon really tries to be fair but we need to do our part, too. Just send an email to community-help and you should hear from amazon in a day or two.
