1. Eleanor Clift of the "McLaughlin Group"predicted that by summer

of 2004, all U.S military remaining in Iraq would be garrisoned and not be going out on patrols. She said the idea would be solely to cut down on casualties before the November elections.

Eleanor made those comments about three weeks ago.

3. my prediction

Is there a way that by pulling out US Troops too fast, Bushco would force the rest of the coalition/UN/world to put in more troops on the ground? Never put anything past them. Could they manipulate this? I think so given that they are superb opportunists. In fact, that is all they are-- opportunists.
