PAHRUMP -- She has yet to apply for a brothel license, but former "Hollywood Madam" Heidi Fleiss has moved to Nye County and revealed the identity of the first man picked to work at her Stud Farm for women in nearby Crystal.

His name is Lester James Brandt, and he is an actor and singer with his own line of clothing and television credits that include a regular stint on the soap opera "Another World."

Fleiss said she met Brandt a few weeks ago at a storage center in Hollywood, as she was packing the last of her things for the move to Nevada. She offered the 37-year-old Texas native a job after he helped her load some of her artwork.

"He looks like your good lead-off guy, your lead horse," she said.

Maybe I am naive, but that was not my experience. I was a shy nerdy girl who did not understand anything about flirting. When I was direct a couple times with male friends, they said that they had too much respect to sleep with me. I had a couple of not so great boyfriends, but I wasn't realizing that many men could be attracted to me until right as I was meeting my husband.
If I were single, I might consider trying to pick up some hot stranger as a safety risk. Women have to worry about being raped, beaten, or killed by male sex partners more than men have to worry about this. Women are also more vunerable to getting STDs from a single encounter than men and have them be more devestating.
Ideally, people would have sex within a loving relationship and not turn to buying sex. I think that you are mistaken though that some women might not want this service.

There are plenty of women out there who want sex but don't want to get entangled in a man's life. They could be independent, or have been hurt, either physically or mentally. There are also plenty of women who have had men destroy their self esteem, what better way to get it back than by being made to feel special by a good looking guy. I'm sure it's going to be a fantasy type of "date", and those women who have a dolt of a husband, would also sign up. There are a lot of women who are married to men, they love, but the men have either lost the drive or never had much to begin with, and it's a way to get her physical needs met without endangering the marriage. Or what about women who have been away from the dating game and need to get back on the horse, so to speak.

From being a hippy, I can tell you that there are all types of men out there. I was young and foolish and didn't know good from bad, when I first started on my sexual journey. But the truth is, about half were not very good, to downright bad. The other half ranged from okay to thunderous ovation. Now, I've had offers of late, but it seems that it's more of a fancy way to masturbate, than to connect.
