Saw Clinton and BushDad on Larry King last night, talking about fundraising for Katrina victims, but could only stomach two minutes of it.

I kept wishing (yeah, right) that Larry would ask Papa Bush the
oh-so-obvious question: "How does it feel to be raising money for the very people who are in dire straits due to your own son's ineptitude?"

There is more to this relationship than meets the eye. Whenever Poppy does anything publicly, he is sending a message of some sort. Those that are the intended recipients get it, the rest of us obviously don't. It is a puzzle.

I know I for one am capable of socializing with conservatives in my private life. I have conservative friends and family members. I won't 'disown' them just because of our political differences. If Bush1 and Clinton get along as friends, who cares? :shrug:
