The O'Reilly Denial Lie, His Own Words Prove it

I put this on the front page of www.oreilly-sucks.com, just to show his idiotic viewers what a liar he is.

----------

The Radio Factor, 11-29-05:

O'REILLY: "There is a move under foot to discourage people from buying in stores that do not use 'Merry Christmas' in their advertising. I am not a part of that.

But look at what he said on the Neil Cavuto show:

O'REILLY: They don't have to say "Merry Christmas" in China, OK? They can say whatever they say in China, "Happy Winter." All right? "We like pandas." Say whatever you want. This is America. This is the big commercial holiday. You're not going to acknowledge the holiday? Then I'm not shopping there. And that's what the bottom line is here. The backlash is building, building, building, and these retailers are going to find out as Federated Department Stores Inc. found out last year -- that's Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Burdines. They didn't say it last year. This year Federated is saying it, so they took a hit.

Call me crazy but unless I can not read english O'Reilly said "You're not going to acknowledge the holiday? Then I'm not shopping there." Yet on his radio show he said he was not part of that movement, from what I see he lies so much he cant keep his lies straight.

If any of you brainwashed O'Reilly lovers can explain to me how O'Reilly can say that and claim he is not part of that movement, please e-mail me. How can you say if a store does not use the word "Merry Christmas" you will not shop there, then deny you are part of the move under foot to discourage people from buying in stores that do not use 'Merry Christmas' in their advertising ? O'Reilly also listed all the stores that are refusing to use Merry Christmas, if he is not part of that movement why did he publish the list ? I thought he had a no spin zone, if that is not spin I'm Elvis.

1. He's so full of it! Look at his other quote: "This is the big commercial
holiday". Which is it, Bill? A Christian event to exclude all others? Or a commercial holiday?

4. Ah, there is the rub.
The fundies and their apologists like o'lielly keep tripping on themselves regarding Christmas and commercialism. They equate the retailing excesses with spirit of Christmas. to them, there is no inconsistency with rampant materialism being the sign of Christmas spirit. So where is the Christ in retailing? It is ludicrous to even propose a religious boycott of a retailer for not being christmas supportive. I contend that the two are incompatible, only linked by coincidence. The celebration of the birth of Christ has NOTHING to do with this retail insanity, so who gives a flying ***k?
