A large blindfolded Santa hanging from a noose from a high tree in a man's yard has angered homeowners in a Florida neighborhood, according to a Local 6 News report.

The Santa doll, which neighborhood children can easily see, was put up by homeowner Ron Stroia at his home located on 555 West 50th Street in Miami Beach, the report said.

It's just wrong, I mean who would want their children to see this, and it reminds adults of lynching," neighbor Estelle Farnsworth said. "It's just nasty, there is no spirit of Christmas in this."

While I understand why parents in the neighborhood might be upset, something about this just CRACKS ME UP! It is his right, too.

26. I think it's a bit over the top, but it does remind me

of what my neighbor did last year. He labored for several nights after work to create a really neat display. On his lawn, next to the drive way, he laid out green lights, as a runway or glide path. On his roof he put a "pool" of blue lights as an ice patch. Apparently, Santa's reindeer hit that ice patch as they were coming in for a landing. One of them was sitting down, bracing himself to stay on the roof, while his friend, who wasn't so lucky, was scrambling to get a foothold in the gutter to keep from falling off the roof entirely. 90 degrees to the left, Santa's sleigh was overturned, half on and half off the roof, and Santa was hanging upside down, caught in the reins. They have two little boys, too.

I loved it, but this year they have one shrub with blue lights and one with green. Nothing on the roof at all.
