7. the problem with blogs is that there are too damned many of them . . .

to keep up with . . . there are probably a hundred or more really good blogs that I'd love to read, but I have enough trouble keeping up with DU . . . these days, the only time I read a blog is when someone references it in a DU thread . . .

Every Friday in DU's Blog Box, I link to as many good bloggers-- commenting on the week's hot topics-- as possible (within the column template space).

The most important thing I've learned about blogging (I get between 500 and 1000 blog hits per day on my blog) is that readers are extremely fickle and demand that you update at least once each day.
