COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — An attempt was made on the life of a man convicted of kidnapping a 5-year-old girl who disappeared and is presumed dead, state corrections officials said.

Spokeswoman Andrea Dean said Lindsey Bruce was placed in protective custody after his throat was cut in the Correctional Reception Center near Orient on Tuesday.

The wounds were superficial, and Bruce was not hospitalized...

Officials said Bruce, 24, was in line for breakfast when another inmate cut his neck with a shaving razor that had been fashioned into a blade...

2. He is at the bottom prison pecking order.

I have read that there is a pecking order among prisoners, and that child mosters are at the bottom. Even other prisoners hate them. Of course the guards offer little to no protection. Justice will likely be served to him by the prisoners, after he is raped a bunch of times.

4. A co-worker did some prison time, and told me a few things.

He told me that prison rape is NOT random--it is used for punishments. Child molesters and rapists ALL get raped, sooner or later. The gangs also do it to people who cross them.
