On Terrorists: "It's OK to detain them without charging them with a crime!", "It's not torture when we do it.", etc.

On Anti-War Protesters: "They hate America!", "They're allied with the terrorists!", etc.

BUT

When one of their own is indicted: "It means nothing!" "They are Innocent until proven guilty!", etc.

Worse than the values question is the standard for impeachment. Misleading testimony about an affair - he's the devil incarnate and his crime is impeachable. "Oh, what will we tell our children now that we got the news to talk about blowjobs?" You lie to start a war, get hundreds of thousands of people killed, maimed, traumatized.... He's the President-Pharaoh, and if you question his integrity, you're a traitor.

Hypocrisy is the defining characteristic of the GOP today. (Greed, corruption & stupidity are distant runners-up.)
