Combined Federal Campaign fell short in my office
If any of you are aware, the Combined Federal Campaing is a yearly charity drive where Federal employees donate to a charity of their choice all across the country. Everything from Ducks Unlimited to the Amerian Heart Association is on there.

Well, it just ended, and in our offices, we fell short, we only got 85% of our goal. This is the first time in memory that we have missed it, especially by this mark.

I wonder why? With the Great Bush Economy.

As a side note, they posted the results as a breakout per office. My group donated a total around $20,000 in total. The Senior Exectives (about ten of them) came in dead last in the whole state, with an amount so small I won't post because it is shameful. In other words, the guys with the most (and probably the staunchest Republicans) donated the least. Go Figure!
