The Photo-Op Attendees Had to Sit Behind a Barricade ---pix->>
Edited on Mon Dec-05-05 05:23 PM by Stephanie

The Coward-in-Chief apparently doesn't trust the pre-screened John Deere employees. And look how they made some of them pose on top of the truck, as if they were just casually hanging out there watching ole George talk. And how the choir of employees behind him are all in matching shirts, although the people outside of the barricade are not. How many more phony-ass photo-ops must we endure? It's so freaking tiresome.

3. I wonder if they're even real trucks
I wonder if they asked the guy to pose like that, the casual pose on top of the truck, leaning on his knee. I wonder why these people don't resent being used as props to catapult the propaganda.

4. Press Gaggle by Scott McClellan
Q Is the administration going to delay efforts to try to make the tax cuts permanent --

MR. McCLELLAN: Actually, one of the things the President will talk about in his remarks today is the importance of making those tax cuts permanent. Our economy is in good shape. But we've got to continue to act on pro-growth policies. And if we don't make those tax cuts permanent, that means a big tax hike for the American people, for American families. It's important that we move forward quickly on them, because it's about providing certainty so that people can plan for their future. And that's a very important aspect of it. The last thing we need to do right now is raise taxes. That would seriously hurt our economy at a time when it is seeing -- when it is growing strong.

And so the President will talk about the importance of making those cuts permanent in his remarks.

Tell me again how those big tax cuts are going to help working people?

6. Nothing Runs likes a George AWOL Bush
He ran from his sworn service in the Texas Air National Guard.

And he ran on 9/11, after sitting in a classroom reading My Pet Goat for 1/2 an hour after being informed that the USA was under attack and that a 2nd plane had hit the World Trade Center in NY. He did nothing. But run.

8. That first one reminds me of the toppling of that Hussein statue.
Staged media events have that sort of look.

10. Precisely
Just pull back the camera to see the real event. They design it for television with a tight focus, but pulling back reveals the truth.
